Tom Creasey, Safety Director

Tom attended Florida International University and received a degree in Industrial Technology and Safety Management. Tom worked with the Department of Interior and retired after twenty-five years of service. While employed at the U.S. Department of Interior he was responsible for construction and power plant safety for the Bureau of Reclamation in Colorado, Arizona, Utah, Wyoming and New Mexico. He is a member of the American Society of Safety Engineers.

Tom states, “My biggest concerns about safety on jobsites, is the lack of safety enforcement where subcontractors are involved.”  To remind workers to think safety, Tom gives out safety stickers and reminder cards with safety messages printed on them.  “I want them to welcome me and not be intimidated by my visits.” 

Tom has been employed with the Associated General Contractors for over six years.
